OUR CHURCHWe are a multi-cultural, multi-generational Christian community who love God, each other, and our community. We celebrate the opportunity to learn more about the God we worship through each others’ perspectives.
Our diversity is our strength. Our people have family ties to Jamaica, Burundi, Finland, Uganda, Chile, Rwanda, Somalia, India, Dominica, and England. We are committed to following Jesus. We encourage each other to be good ambassadors for God wherever we are - at school, college, where we volunteer, where we shop, at work, in the streets where we live. Wherever. We want to show God’s love to the community around us. We run a popular community cafe, host a weekly Foodbank sessions, and occasional events like Careers Fairs, an Arts Trail and community consultations. Our volunteers are fantastic people! We can’t do everything, but we do what we can. We are members of the Baptist Union of Great Britain and we are affiliated to the West of England Baptist Association (WEBA). We enjoy our friendships with other Baptist churches and with churches of other denominations in East Bristol and beyond. |
